These pictures show the true extent of the tragic car crash that killed Fast and the Furious star Paul Walker.
The actor was the passenger in a single-car accident and explosion in Santa Clarita, north of Los Angeles on Saturday night.
Walker had been on his way a charity event for his organisation "Reach Out Worldwide" when the red Porsche he was travelling in hit a tree and burst into flames.
The pictures show the charred remains of the vehicle wrapped around the tree on the side of the road.
The driver of the vehicle, a friend of the 40-year-old star, was also killed.


News of the the actor's death was confirmed on Walker's Facebook page.

A statement on the page read: "It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide.

"He was a passenger in a friend's car, in which both lost their lives.
"We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news.

"Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time.
"We will do our best to keep you apprised on where to send condolences."
Walker, who has starred in six of the Fast and Furious blockbusters, was in the middle of shooting the seventh instalment with Vin Diesel and new director James Wan at the time of the crash.
After hearing of Walker's death, Vin Diesel paid tribute to his long-time colleague, saying: "Heaven has gained a new angel."
