Rihanna surprised a fan by letting her under her umbrella

It may be cold outside, but this scene would melt anyone's heart.

Superstar Rihanna made a fan's day on Friday night outside the Barclays Center in New York.

With snow falling around her, the singer had taken refuge under a large umbrella as she left the basketball when a tiny fan noticed her.

Despite the cold, the 25-year-old stopped to talk to the young girl, who promptly started crying.

As if reenacting the lyrics from her biggest hit Umbrella, RihRih pulled the fan in under the protection of the parasol she was carrying.

The 25-year-old wore a pair of black Timberlands with straight leg blue jeans and white T-shirt under a big blue parker.

Rihanna wore little make-up and left her hair our in waves, showing off the shaved side of her head.

The game was no doubt a nice break for the star who is about to be very busy again with her latest single, Can't Remember To Forget You, to be released this week. The song is a collaboration with Latin singer Shakira.
