The maiden edition edition of the Black & White concert, saw two of the biggest performers in Ghana – Abrantie Amakye Dede and Samini – represent how the oldschool and new school faceoff when it comes to performances. Both have over the years
consistently rocked every stage they’ve mounted, making them arguably the best performers of their respective generations. Amakye Dede was supported in the corner of the oldschool by Jeorge Jarra while Castro, Kofi Kinata and Guru represented the newschool. It was certainly a victory for Ghanaian music on the night as patrons responded amazingly to both sets.
