The tremendous growth of the entertainment industry can be
attributed to radio and television discussion programmes and it is good
news that one of such shows is about to be aired on Pluzz 89.9FM
,
starting Sunday, 15th December, 2013. After constant pestering from
radio fans as to when the show will be starting, the uniquely packaged
show will take off in earnest this Sunday and continues every Sunday
from 3pm to 5pm.
The show dubbed ‘Flex on Pluzz’ which will be hosted by Sammy Flex,
the Managing Editor of Flex newspaper, will be one show that is going to
serve as a reference point to entertainment in Ghana.
Sammy Flex also known as Samuel Atuobi Baah has been in the media for
quite some time now and with the wealth of experience he has gained from
his days at journalism school, to newspaper production, aside his usual
news paper review on Dr Cann’s Showbiz Xtra on Happy FM and doing the
tit bits segment on Anansekrom on Multi tv, one is sure of having a
great show.
The two hour show is going to be informative, investigative,
entertaining, educative, as it seeks to make great impact in the arts
industry. Stephen Nakujah, Attractive and June Obiri Junior will be the
producers. There are also other big brains behind the show and it is
obvious Flex on Pluzz will make great strides in the arts industry.
Sammy Flex and his Flex newspaper have been very critical about almost
everybody in the entertainment industry so sees this as an opportunity
to demonstrate to people what he has always written in Flex by way of
critiquing the works of other people.
So remember that after listening to all those entertainment programmes
during the week, you get to listen to a refreshing one that has sifted
all the raw materials in the world of arts and has pieced them for easy
listening on Sunday. ‘Flex on Pluzz’ is making the difference in
entertainment discussion on radio. But note this all the time: we
believe this is not a competition, but a contribution to the
entertainment industry in general.
